If you’re looking for activities to help you leap into spring, then you’ll love my spring literacy resources for reading and writing! Spring Word Work

Spring Fluency
Educators know that reading fluency is vital to comprehension. Fluency is the ability to read a text accurately, quickly, and with expression. When students struggle with word recognition and fluency, they have difficulty understanding what they read. With practice in accuracy and decoding skills, children will become more fluent readers which leads to greater comprehension. My spring fluency games are an excellent way to help build more confident readers.

Spring Poetry

Spring Writing

Spring Partner Poems
If you’re looking for another way to build fluency, poems for two voices are a proven way to help boost reading confidence. Each of my poetry activities include poems that provide a back and forth reading structure. Students will be engaged as they explore character perspective and change their voices to match the expression of the different characters.
