Scoop + Phrase | Fluency Phrasing Activity

Description

Do your students need extra practice with scooping and phrasing words? Are your students choppy readers?

Scoop & Phrase sentence building is the perfect fluency activity to reinforce the skill of phrasing during reading. Student will cut out the phrase cards and then mix and match them to make silly sentences. A visualizing page is included for students to illustrate some of their sentences, too.

Don’t forget to remind students to SCOOP the words into meaningful phrases when they read their sentences. You can even have them draw in the scoop lines under each phrase to follow with their fingers!
